  • "SOMOS UNO" (We are one) is the concept of a traditional family consisting of a father, mother, and child. The author comments that when a couple has their first child, they become a family, and this artwork also represents the "BEING," which is divided into three parts: We are a spirit that lives in a body, and this body contains a soul where thoughts, feelings, and decisions "of the heart" are hidden, and this is manifested in the mind.


    This abstract and simple form, along with this explanation, gives more value to the artwork. The owner could decipher to their friends and family why the artwork depicts a single stem.
